We often compare Kyle XY to Star Trek. The original series of both shows had 3 seasons, and they both contain strong aspects of science fiction

With the upcoming release of the new Star Trek movie, we urge all Kyle XY fans to attend a screening of the new Star Trek movie, save the ticket stubs, make a photo copy for your own records (because it's cool), and mail those original stubs to the following address:

As part of your mail, please be sure to include a mention that Kyle XY and Star Trek have great things in common, like "going places no one has gone before". (for example).

Start date for this specific campaign is FRIDAY because that's when Star Trek opens. If you want to really get enthusiastic, get 3 stubs and mail all 3 at once. Three stubs for 3 seasons. (And don't forget to mention we haven't had our Kyle XY DESSERT yet) That would be a season numbered 4! *grin*

Yes, the forums are still down.

We're doing everything we can to bring them back. Worry not, your threads and posts, etc etc, are all rumored to still be safe. (rumored by the tech people.)

For your own education: The forums come in 2 main pieces. The tables (php) and the database (MySQL). Rumor has it, re-uploading the php files should help. That's where it gets irritating. It's not the upload process, it's the sheer quantity of files. (We can only work on this at night, so thank you all for your patience and understanding.)

So. There it is.

First, a super huge, heartfelt Thank You to all of you for your sympathies and condolences yesterday. (We feel loved.)

Second, Grandma was not someone to give up on any cause she believed in. Neither are we: the Kyle XY campaign is far from over. April 28 is just around the corner. If you miss the deadline, it's OK, we'll be having another mailing for Memorial Day. (And there will be many more after that. This is going to be a regular thing till we get what we want. *grin*)

...It was once sung, "the tragedy is how you're gonna spend the rest of your nights with the light on, so shine the light on all of your friends" (if you are familiar with the song, ignore the last part of the verse, because it all DOES amount to something in the end.)...

"I won't worry my life away," but I am going to "let it rock, let it rock, let it rock."

I think you fans are totally worth giving "a little bit, give a little bit of my life/love for you".

(Man I love upbeat 90's hits.)
